Once your consultation has been booked you will receive a confirmation by email or text confirming date, time and any additional information needed.

During the consultation we will begin by discussing your desired look, which involves analysing the treatment area as well as the skin to ensure you will achieve the results required.

Jessica will then read your skin undertones and by doing so select the best pigment colour for your elected treatment. Once the colour has been selected a bespoke template design is then drawn on the treatment area to achieve your desired look.

Throughout the consultation “before” and “after” photos are taken of the colour selection and template design. These photos are confidential and will not be used unless consent has been given.

A “before” photograph is take of the procedure area, this is for you to be able to view after the treatment and will not be shared unless permitted. Your template design will also be photographed for your records.

To ensure you are comfortable numbing cream is applied throughout the treatment and beforehand. We also recommend that “Emla” cream is purchased from a good chemist and applied 2 hours before the treatment. There is therefore little discomfort during the treatment.

Whilst the numbing cream is taking affect, approx 30 minutes, we will again discuss the results you wish and select the pigment ensuring the pigment compliments your features.

A cosmetic pencil is then used to draw the desired shape, once the shape has been agreed this template will then be followed during the treatment, this will ensure the finished result is how planned. The treatment will not begin unless you are 100% happy with the planned design.

The selected pigments are then implanted into the skin using a superfine and sterile needle, with the latest state of the art machine or held help tool depending on treatment booked.

During the treatment you will be shown throughout the results that are being achieved to ensure you are satisfied that your desired look is being achieved

Consultation Duration: 30 minutes.

Procedure Duration: Allow 2.5 hours from start to finish, however some procedures may take longer to perform. This will be discussed at the time of booking.

Top up Duration: Allow 1-2 hours from start to finish.

Proper care following your enhancement is necessary to achieve the best results. Please review the following instructions and refer to them as necessary. If during the healing process you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact us.

You may experience the following symptoms for 4 days

o Minor swelling and redness.
o Mild tenderness.
o Itchiness.
o Dry flaking skin.
o These symptoms are a normal part of the healing process.

Daily care to follow for 7 days

o Apply a healing balm a minimum of 3 times a day, using a cotton bud. Wash your hands before applying the product and prevent cross-contamination of the product by using a clean cotton bud for each eyebrow.
o We recommend that you use a gentle facial cleanser to freshen your skin during the first week. Do not splash wash your face. Do however clean your enhancement twice daily with damp cotton pads.
o Apply a thick layer of Vaseline to your enhancement when washing your hair to prevent it from becoming wet. Remove the Vaseline with damp cotton pads.
o If your enhancement gets wet, gently pat the area dry using a clean tissue.
o Keep your hair away from your enhancement to prevent the possibility of infection.
o Some itching is normal. DO NOT PICK, PEEL OR RUB your enhancement as the colour may heal unevenly and you could risk infection, which in turn could lead to scarring. Allow the colour to flake away by itself.
o Do not receive skincare beauty treatments for 5 days after the application of your enhancement.
o No make-up should be applied close to your enhancement for 3 days.

Avoid for 2 weeks

o Do not expose your enhancement to direct sun, tanning treatments, Jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools and direct shower spray.
o Do not receive tinting, waxing, electrolysis or laser hair removal treatments close to the area.

Important notes

o Remember, your selected colour will be stronger and more sharply defined for 10 to 14 days after application but as the healing process occurs the colour will soften and lighten.
o The approximate healing period is 14 days, however healing can be prolonged if your immune system is compromised, if you are generally stressed and by poor diet.
o Keep in mind that in many cases, some unevenness of colour is to be expected. This is the purpose of the control visit allowing us to fine tune your enhancement. If you have opted for a refill and you do not attend your scheduled control appointment you will be charged for any further treatment. Cancellation notice is always 48 hours.Long term care
o Use a good sunscreen. Sun exposure will fade your micro-pigmentation enhancement.
o If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of your micro-pigmentation enhancement.
o Please inform the National Blood Service if you donate blood, as you may not be eligible to give blood for 4 months post application.Follow up Appointment

A colourboost is recommended 12-18 months after the initial procedure and is charged at a discounted rate for returning customers. Colour boost procedures are one treatment only unless otherwise stated.
