Vascular Therapy
PL (Intense Pulsed Light) Vascular Therapy is a non-invasive treatment designed to target and reduce the appearance of visible blood vessels, such as broken capillaries, spider veins, and facial redness often caused by rosacea or sun damage. Using controlled pulses of light, the treatment gently heats and collapses the unwanted vessels beneath the skin’s surface, which are then naturally reabsorbed by the body. The result is a clearer, more even complexion with minimal discomfort and downtime. IPL also stimulates collagen production, enhancing overall skin tone and texture for long-lasting skin rejuvenation.

Who is it for?

•Broken capillaries or spider veins
•Facial redness or flushing
•Mild to moderate rosacea
•Sun-damaged or uneven skin tone
•Fair to medium skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III)
It may not be suitable for those with very dark skin, active infections, or certain medical conditions. A consultation is essential to determine if this treatment is right for you.
What to expect
To ensure accurate light guidance, a layer of gel is applied to the skin. The IPL hand piece is then placed on the skin, and a brief pulse of light is emitted. The applicator is moved over the skin multiple times, gradually progressing to the adjacent area until the entire region is treated. As each light pulse covers a significant area, the treatment duration is relatively brief. Afterward, the gel is removed, and the skin is moisturised. Protective eye wear is provided throughout the treatment session.

You also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about the treatment.
After undergoing treatment with the Intense Pulsed Light system for acne, it is common for the treated area to appear red. However, this redness typically subsides within a few hours. In general, people do not experience any other side effects from the treatment. However, in rare cases, a small blister may form or the skin may temporarily become lighter or darker. It's important to note that these side effects are uncommon and usually resolve on their own.
Most clients need a course of 3 to 6 IPL sessions, spaced about 3–4 weeks apart, for optimal results. The exact number depends on the severity of the vascular concern and your skin’s response. Maintenance sessions every 6–12 months may be recommended to keep results looking their best.
