Skin Tag Removal
Advanced electrolysis is a precise treatment used to target and remove individual unwanted skin imperfections, including skin tags, thread veins, blood spots and other minor blemishes.
Using a fine sterile probe and controlled electrical energy, the treatment targets the area with precision while leaving the surrounding skin largely unaffected. This makes electrolysis particularly useful for small, localised concerns where accuracy is important.
At Perfectly Applied, advanced electrolysis is carried out with a careful, clinical approach, with treatment tailored to the individual area and your skin.

How long does it take to see results from erbium laser?
Results can be visible immediately following treatment, although the treated area may initially appear red, swollen or slightly crusted as the skin heals. Healing time varies depending on the area treated and the individual. As the skin settles, the treated lesion should gradually become less visible.
Please note: All lesions must be assessed for suitability before treatment. Any lesion that appears unusual, changes in appearance or cannot be confidently identified should be referred for medical assessment.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Advanced electrolysis is a precise treatment that uses a fine sterile probe and controlled electrical energy to treat selected minor skin imperfections. At Perfectly Applied, it can be used for suitable skin tags, cherry angiomas and milia.
We can assess and treat suitable skin tags, cherry angiomas and milia. The area and lesion will always be assessed before treatment to determine whether it is appropriate.
This treatment is up to 30 minutes and typically allows for approximately 5–10 lesions, depending on their size, location and complexity.
You may feel a brief heat, warmth or pinching sensation during treatment. Sensitivity varies depending on the area being treated and the individual.
There is generally minimal downtime. The treated area may initially appear red or slightly swollen and may develop a small crust as it heals. Aftercare instructions will be provided following treatment.
The treated lesion may appear reduced immediately, but the final appearance develops as the area heals. Healing time varies depending on the individual and the lesion treated.
All equipment complies with Health and Safety requirements. Our premises are fully licensed by the local authority and so are we!
A consultation or assessment is required before treatment to determine whether the lesion is suitable for advanced electrolysis. Any lesion that appears unusual, is changing, bleeding or cannot be confidently identified should be medically assessed rather than treated.
A successfully treated individual lesion is intended to be permanently removed. However, new skin tags, milia or cherry angiomas can develop in the future, so treatment does not prevent new lesions from appearing.
Advanced electrolysis should be discussed with your practitioner during pregnancy. Treatment suitability depends on the individual and the area being treated, so please contact us before booking.
Keep the area clean and follow the specific aftercare instructions provided. Avoid picking or scratching the treated area while it heals and protect the area from unnecessary sun exposure.
No. Every lesion needs to be assessed before treatment. If there is any uncertainty about what a lesion is, treatment should not proceed until it has been appropriately assessed by a medical professional.
This is the FAQ set I’d use rather than trying to adapt the laser questions. It makes the page feel much more specifically written for Advanced Electrolysis, while also giving you sensible clinical wording around lesion assessment.
