Different cleansers are available for different skin types. However, there are few products on the market that effectively clean as well as provide anti-ageing benefits. Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse provides cleansing, exfoliating as well as anti-ageing benefits.
- AHA & BHA exfoliation - Dual-action cleanser using AHAs and BHAs to break down impurities and exfoliate the skin on the surface as well as the deeper layers. The result is softened wrinkles and refined pores.
- Antioxidant power - Containing mangosteen fruit extract which has high levels of vitamin C. The natural antioxidant protects the skin from free radicals for a smooth, even complexion.
- Anti-ageing - Natural skin ageing can cause dry, dull skin, and fine lines and wrinkles typically appear.Medik8's Surface Radiance Cleanse has a combination of ingredients that provide exfoliating properties, break down dead skin cells and help against dull and uneven pigmented skin.
- Hydrating - Containing hydrating glycerin to avoid TEWL and improve skin barrier function. Glycerin helps to balance any dryness caused by AHAs and BHAs.
- Botanicals - Surface Radiance Cleanse harnesses the antioxidant power of a range of botanicals including sweet orange oil, raspberry extract and yucca extract.
- L-Mandelic acid - An AHA with antibacterial activity. Chirally correct mandelic acid is able to work both on the surface of the skin and within the pores for deep but gentle exfoliation.
- L-Lactic acid - An AHA with exfoliatiing properties that help improve skin texture and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It also provides brightening benefits and has water-binding capacity.
- Salicylic acid - Decongesting and exfoliating from withing the pore, this BHA breaks down the clogged oil and skin cells that can contribute to enlarged pores and skin blemishes.
- Mangosteen extract - Rich in natural antioxidants, mangosteen protects the skin from free radical attack which can trigger premature ageing. Mangosteen has also found to have anti-inflammatory properties.
